I'm thinking of taking DS (5) to York for a few days over the summer holidays. Things that I definitely want to do are Jorvik, the Railway Museum and York Castle Museum.
The train tickets from the SE are going to be pretty pricey, so I'm looking for ways to keep extra spending to a minimum! Any ideas? If anyone had any suggestions for cheap, child and vegetarian friendly places to eat, I would appreciate it. Or in general, tips about visiting York would also be gratefully received!
