Not very adventurous in my car but i want to take my son to a sandy beach in England that doesn't take hours in the car 2hours at most. Any ideas?

Camber Sands in Sussex?

Hampshire has some, but don't know well enough to know which are sandy

Camber Sands is lovely and easy to get to from south London.

A few years ago, when we lived in Kent we went to Dymchurch and I thought it was a lovely beach. We drove to Hythe and got the Hythe and Dymchurch railway.

Camber sands is the easiest and quickest drive to a sandy beach from s London, IMO. And ii is lovely. Dunes and a vast sandy beach.
