Center Parcs advice

Hi all

We are going to Longleat Center Parcs in a few weeks, staying in an executive 3 bed (2 storey) in the Maple area. Can anyone tell me if the villas have coffee machines/cafetieres, or is it best just to take instant?

Thanks, any other top tips on bits and bobs to take? We have a 2.5 month old so will eat lunch out and cook in the evenings.

Take a really sharp knife with you.

Washing up liquid
Bin liners
Bathroom soap
Dishwasher tablets
Towels for swimming
Pound coins
Shampoo, shower gel etc
Toilet paper

That sounds terrifying, Iwish . I hope you mean for food preparation.

I'm considering taking my slow cooker when we go soon.

We only went once a few years ago but apart from DH and DS1 being I'll all week, another lasting memory is how crap the kitchen knives were!

I'd do a good food shop to take with you - the prices in the on site shop weren't extortionate but the choice was pretty limited.

Take enough bin bags, cling film, dishwasher tablets etc for the week.

Just realised this is a Friday night centre parcs thread. Should you take lube?

I went last week with my 2 yr old. The restaurants get booked up pretty quickly for the early tea time slot. We went to the grand cafe for tea one evening and it was good. After we are, DS ran around the indoor golf area with DH chasing him like a loon. I are a huge dessert
The meet the owls activity was good, DS loved it. At the lake, the ducks will literally mob you for your bread. They pulled DS gloves off. He loved that too!

Then last one we stayed in had a Senseo pod machine and pods. Very nice!

Take senseo coffee pods (mug size) with you for the machine - delicious.

The purple packs for 'easy weekend' coffee are my fave and they are not in the cp shop (or tesco) but are in morrisons and asda. Costs £4 for 20 mugsize pods.

There will be a wine fridge - i like this too.

Shop is not too expensive if you are used to waitrose but a shock if you are used to lidl. Very well stocked - nappies, wipes, calpol etc. Everything u need for a baby.

Sports cafe great for lunch. All the meals there come in a half portion size which adults can have too - but you have to ask for it when you order and screw your eyes up to read the small print.

Any chance you can throw baby in pram and go to ortega in the evening? Staff there always super lovely and tapas is really nice and get a pram in early.

It's not quite as tropical in the pool area as the name suggests. And seats can get grabbed early. If money no object you may want to book a cabana.
