weekends away in uk

hi everyone. can anyone suggest affordable weekend breaks in uk for two adults? we have only been to north wales and lake district so far which we loved.

Stratford Upon Avon? Alcester Manor is nice and you can sometimes get good deals.

Harrogate? We stayed in the Balmoral which was lovely at the time, but I've seen some poor reviews on it since.

Durham?
