We're renting a cottage for the week. I doubt it will come with anything other than the accommodation!

Closest is at Windermere.

There used to be a gym near waterhead where you could buy day passes. It had swimming pool gym plunge pool sauna jaccussi.

There is a dot pool (slides and waves) at Kesick.

Best check ahead though as my information is probably very out of date.

Keswick pool is nice, especially for little ones with slide and waves but it's quite a long way to get there at the moment ( A591 shut to cars at Dunmail Raise) - hopefully will reopen in next few months so it'll depend on when you're going. - good bus service from Grasmere to Keswick. Might be worth seeing if any hotels etc let you pay for using their leisure facilities

The Salutation Hotel in Ambleside has a pool and spa. There's also the McDonald Old England Hotel in Bowness. You could call and ask if they do passes for non residents.

There seems to be a public pool in Kendal which is not too far and Kendal is a nice day trip for a wander round the shops etc.
