Any recommendations of where to go in Cornwall with toddler and baby.

This will be our first holiday as a family and not quite sure if brave enough to go abroad! Would really appreciate some good advice about Cornwall.

We stay in the south east when we go to Cornwall. its not right down the end, its near Devon as well and you drive on the a38 not the a30 which can be a car park. Theres so much choice that to make it easier on yourself when looking it might be an idea to pick one or two things you definately want and one or two that you would like. Otherwise you are faced with thousands of places to stay! awaywiththekids was useful when ours were younger but we do use the visitcornwall website. if you fancy a farm type stay cartwheelholidays website is good as well. pm me if you want details on some of the specific places we stayed when ours were younger.

Sands hotel just outside Newquay is very child friendly and near a sandy beach. Dairyland is a nice day out and has soft play if it rains! Seal sanctuary.in Gweek is fun but expensive so look for an online voucher first

How about the North Coast ? You could try www.merlin-farm-cottages-cornwall.co.uk child friendly self catering or www.bedruthan.com child friendly hotel both at Mawgan Porth, good luck x

The park at mawgan porth. Various sizes of accommodation, quiet. You can walk to the beach along a flat road with a pavement. Convenience store on the beach. Big sandy beach with lots of shallow pools that are good for toddler paddling. Indoor pool on the park for those rainy days. Little park.

Google Forest Holidays. Deer Park in Cornwall is so beautiful- we love it!

Merlin Farm in North Cornwall, super for young Kids !

Maritime museum in Falmouth is great for rainy days. About £10 for an adult ticket, but it's an annual pass. Bargain if you go a few times over your holiday.
