Okay, so I now in Glasgow for the weekend, without kids. Booked theatre for tonight. Where else to go? Have wondered aimlessly around but can t seem to find a centre really. Barrass market a waste of time. What else is there to see?

Where are you staying? I'm from Glasgow but haven't been there for a while, but there should be loads to do. Find Princes Square in Buchanan St and then shopping is all around you. Byrnes Road ( up the west end near the university) is good for a wander and coffee. The Barras is grotty ( I think) but there is loads to do in and around the city. The Burrell Collection ( a little way out) Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is fairly close. I'm sure others with better local knowledge will be along soon, but I'm sorry you haven't had a great time so far
