I am looking for a self catering (and not too expensive) week away during the Easter hols. I have 5 children ages 11 - 8 months and a lovely beach to pootle on would be amazing. Has anyone any suggestions?

Lyme Regis is also good looking for Fossils.
Barry Island has an excellent beach but all sand and small fair etc for the kids.
Cornwall, well loads to choose from

Excellent site bit of a drive to the beach though, not far from Honiton for shopping etc.
The places in North Wales I mentioned might be a bit far from you.
We want to go back to Barry Island as out Daughetrs a big Gavin & Stacy fan, but it really is a nice place and Cardiff has lots to see and do too, could have a combined Beach / City break ?
