Arts and crafts breaks

Has anyone ever been on a break somewhere where they do arts and crafts activities? Me and my mum fancy doing a short break somewhere in the UK where there are different crafty type activities to do, I saw an advert for a place in Devon but I can't find the magazine now!

Any suggestions? :)

I know a few people that have been on Arts and Craft courses/breaks here and they were very good.

Manor House/Ashbury Hotels ? There is also somewhere near Chichester which does adult orientated short residential courses.

Have a look if the Field Studies Council still do them.
