DH has got to go for work so I've the chance of a week's free stay with DD in an apartment. So I know its not exactly ideal late October destination but.....
Will there be plenty of stuff to do to keep us occupied seeing as it ain't going to be beach weather. Happy to wrap up and go rock pooling, etc. German tunnels sound interesting and I see there's a swimming pool that looks quite nice. DD is 11 and is mainly interested in shopping and slightly interested in nature type stuff.
How big is the island, would bike hire be a good idea or can we get to places on public transport?
