Hi we are in such need of a break but finding it very hard to find the right thing. We are very much olde parents with 14 yr old triplets,2 boys and a girl. My dh has cancer and I lost my lovely Mum three weeks ago :(
I am very run down and not sleeping well.
The dates we can get away are
3-10th Aug
19th Aug-3rd Sept.
The trouble is I just dont know where to go or what to do. It can be UK,or France/Holland etc. Need somewhere where I dont cook every night and where the kids have freedom and lots to do.
Budget is up to £150 ish a night.
We all love animals, we live nr the sea so it doesn`t have to be a beach holiday, just really stuck because of keeping the kids happy!
Thank you.

Would you consider an all inclusive type resort, which gives you the option of literally not having to do anything in the way of cooking? You and DH could have some proper time to relax and it would give your kids some freedom, as well as there being some activities/entertainment to keep them relaxed?

I know that's not everyone's cup of tea tho!

How about Duinrell holiday park in Holland - self catering but there are plenty of restaurants on site and in the area

here

Or landal holiday camps

I booked one for this year, and I was glad I did as I was in hospital and only got out a week before we went, I found that it meant that we could go and eat whenever we wanted, there was always something available, we could go and just lounge at the pool and could go and get drinks, snack ice cream whenever we wanted and there was always something on to do if DD got bored. It ended up being quite a relaxing holiday (although we did go out and about too)

If you booked something last minute you could probably get a pretty good deal as prices will really drop.

Really sorry about your mum and also your DH Sad
