Bath - recommendations

Am going on a girls wkend to bath, none of us have been there before. Would like some restaurant ideas and sight seeing ( obv will be shopping along the way!)

The River Canteen - lovely italian restaurant overlooking the weir (next to the rugby ground) - has fairly recently got new owners who are an Italian family and I had lunch there on a Saturday recently. 3 courses for 12.50 and the food was superb. (best risotto I have ever eaten!) Book a table by the window and you will be very happy girls!

I agree re Spa. You cant beat the outdoor pool.
