Need a cheap, nice self catering holiday in Poole for 1 adult and 4 children!

During Easter Holidays. Would be nice over Easter weekend as it's my Birthday on good friday and DS1 will be 15 on Easter Sunday.
Close as possible to Poole as we will be coming in by train from Somerset and i don't know the area as probably last went when i was a child. DD2 chose Poole because her class in school are pen friends with a class in Poole school and she visited with her class, they went to brownsea island and wants to show it to me!
Any recommendations gratefully received. Looking to spend no more than about £400 if possible!

hi - how about a caravan holiday - there a lot around that area & half the price of the other options - we stayed at hoburne park near christchurch - there is an indoor pool & restaurant - its about 10 miles to poole harbour but there are very good bus links to everywhere like bournemouth & the new forest or you can just walk to the beach. you can book direct with them but we stayed in a privately rented one. search for hoburne holiday homes
