Holiday in Cornwall

Looking for suggestions on locations in Cornwall to rent a cottage. Visited a few years ago but that was pre-children and when holidays were all about alcohol socialising and relaxing. We have ds 3yrs and 5yrs and would probably prefer North Cornwall due to the travel (travelling from North West) but not too fussed. Keen on nice beaches, places like Eden Project and areas which aren't too touristy.

Thanks.

We have stayed here with DC and would go again! About 1 min from beach, lots of little shops in village. South coast, but north end IYSWIM. Foot ferry to Plymouth, great fun!

We stay at Wringworthy holiday cottages just outside Looe. we find it nicer than the north coast because it is less busy/touristy and in terms of getting there it is so much easier going down the A38 from the motorway than the horrible A30 carpark which does get rammed in the summer months. they have a swimming pool and animals like chickens which our DC's always enjoy. The Eden project is on this side of Cornwall not on the north side and there are loads of other things to do. We like the beach Seaton as it has a fab cafe on the beach as well as quite gentle waves. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are all nearby and they are lovely too.
