This is miles in advance i know but hey ho !

It is my turn to have my dd for New years Eve this year, and i want to do something with her or maybe go away for a couple of days with her. She is 4 so obviously not to bothered about stuff to do at midnight.

We live in lancashire but i don't mind travelling so we can do something nice together.

Thanks very much

We did a time shift party this year which the children loved. We celebrated with a bbq lunch at 1pm new years eve and watched syndey fireworks, then had an Indian meal at 6:30 along with Dehli new year (though you could have Thai earlier); our 4yr old also saw in the Moscow (russian dancing); Nairobi (african dancing) and some greek snacks - humous pitta etc at 10pm. We then had an american breakfast. Having counted in 6 new years, no one felt cheated at missing our own (including us!)
