Is it worth getting a 1 year travel card, for 2 adults 3 Children? (between 8 and nearly 15)
An adult gets 1/3 off and children get 60% off, its £28 for a card per adult...

Yes thats the one! :) so do you just pay for the card and then pay for discounted fairs. Is it worth the money or is trainline.com best?

It depends on how many times you use it. I take ds to school on the train most days, it paid for itself in just over a week. You can also get discounts on the bus/youth hostels with it and trainline.com will also give you a discount.
