We stayed at either a Premier Inn or a Travelodge. It's so long ago now though, that I can't remember which Blush

T'was good though, clean & basic.

Warwick Arms is good and within walking distance of the Castle.

Lord Leycester has lovely staff and a lovely restaurant, but is a bit of a comedy hotel. The wallpaper is peeling, windows don't open, the plumbing is comical. But it's cheap and the public areas are nice. Also within walking distance of the castle.

Other than that their are B&B type places, or the pub nearby (can't remember name but will look if you are interested) does rooms and is ok.

Further afield are Holiday Inn expresses and travelodges etc.
