Breaks with a 16mth old?

Hi!!
My Dd is 13mths at the moment, but we are hoping to go away in September ( she will then be 16mths old).
Really fancy going to Cornwall for a few days-any suggestions for child friendly places & places/things to do??

We always stay at Wringworthy Farm Holiday cottages near Looe. it is on the quieter East coast of Cornwall and it takes us about an hour from Exeter. Near to them is the Monkey Sanctuary, the fishing village of Looe and Polperro, a donkey park with an indoor play area and we often go into Plymouth which is about half an hour away to visit the aquarium. When mine were smaller we used to go to an indoor play centre (can't remember the name now) they arent more than a few minutes from some lovely beaches and Sept is a great time to go because the weather can be so good. They also do loads of free stuff for kids like cots and have somewhere for your kids to play inside. would say as a rule check what stuff places provide you with so you arent loading up the car. Lots of places take internet food shopping which also helps. if you definately want Cornwall then also have a look at the Cornwall tourist board website visit cornwall. if you don't want self catering then Bedruthan steps is definately good for kids but it is a hotel and at the more expensive end of things. good luck.
