Pet Not Allowed Holiday Cottage

Where would you look to find a holiday cottage where pets are not allowed. Do you know of any specific allergy free websites? We have holiday cottages and the 2 pets not allowed ones are more difficult to rent out.

On most agency sites they have the option of Pets:yes/no/don't mind.

I always check whether pets are allowed, and if they are, we don't book it.
DH highly allergic to cats and dogs and the dander is there even when the animal is not. I don't look on special allergy sites though.

Afaik even the ones that do not allow pets are not guaranteed to be suitable if you have allergies. This is because they have to allow assistance dogs (e.g. guide dogs) for people who have disabilities. So they can exclude pets but not assistance animals.

It is very dependent on where your holiday cottage is. We have one on the Isle of Wight non-pet cottages still sell there in high season as the area is so popular. However, our pet friendly one sells even in January.
Those who only book no pet cottages be aware that only applies to customers I aware of several cottage owners who do not allow visitors animals, but take their own pets to the cottage.

I think this is just one of those things. There are more people in the world with pets than there are with pet allergies, so more people are going to be looking for a cottage that does allow pets than one that doesn't.
