UK BREAK AWAY

Hi, this is very last minute but we would like to go away next Tues for a few days.We are in London but was thinking Wales perhaps,we would like somewhere that has activities for a 5 yr old and near a beach. Any suggestions please or anywhere else that is a few hours drive from London. Thankyou :-)

How about trying Dudley, I've been there before, a few weeks ago to get away for a few days and the area is great, lots of things to do and see. Before I went, I visited the heart of England website which was recommended by a friend and I downloaded a voucher which meant I got 3 nights B&B with dinner for just £207 which I thought was a bargain!

Ironbridge museum is a good 2 days out and the kids loved it. also bath and surrounds is good for a couple of days or you could go to somewhere like brighton for the beach or weymouth which has lots going on and a beach. Wherever you go make sure you book first because school summer hols make it tricky to just turn up. sure you will find something try www.lastminute-cottages.co.uk a website we have used a lot in the past for last minute stuff.
