Has anyone been here? Would it be OK for DS aged 7 but has never been to a big proper theme park, so would be scared of big rides - that's why we thought this would be a good idea. He also likes adventure golf etc. Thanks!

I went all the time as a child (we used to go on holiday to Ilfracome). I haven't been for 15 years but we're taking dd (who will be just 4) in the summer.

I adored it. It's not a theme park though is it.

The bits I remember with fondness are the dungeons, the old fashioned games, gnome world and the maze.

I have it on good authority that it hasn't changed a bit.

He will love it.

Take him.

Thanks ShowOfHands! When I mentioned theme park, it was just that I think it's probably a bit baby-ish for 7 year olds who like Alton Towers etc. but DS isn't really like that. It looks from the website like they have a few little rides etc. We've booked one of the apartments there for July, so I'm hoping it's OK!
