Short break in Norfolk

Hi could anyone recommend a place in Norfolk to stay, 2 adults, 2 children under 4. We want to visit Bewilderwood so have been looking at nothing more than about half an hour away from Wroxham area. I was hoping someone with local knowledge might help. Don't mind what type of accomodation as its for 4 nights only but want non smoking and pref one that does not allow pets. Been trawling through website after website and head is spinning Confused

I fancy visiting bewilderwood too - shall lurk on your thread!

Went to Bewilderwood last year, was excellent, our DD now 4 still raves about it so must have been good. Also went to Dinosaur Land which was good too. Hope you get there.

I have seen lots of recommendations but its a long way from where we live and somehow we never get that far east - will have to make a special trip soon!

We stayed here years ago, in one of their lodges. Very nice. It was quite cheap, but not sure if they have larger lodges (I think so).

Good luck

(BTW, if you're going to Bewilderwood, I'd recommend taking your own picnic/sandwiches etc - the food there is lovely and organic etc but pricey.)

Horning house boats are lovely & Hickling has some house boats too (with a better view, but Horning are nicer environment)

As are the river houses at Acle

There is a campsite (with something inside cottage?) at Clippesby which is really nice

If you fancy bewilderwood its worth going to high lodge too. Similar but loads cheaper.
