trip adivsor might be helpful. I haven't been there myself, but I think Trip Advisor is very useful.

aaahh, went there with DP when we had just started seeing each other (happy memories), but that was years ago now.

Food was gorgeous but obviously that could have changed..

Harts - is that the one in the Lace Market?

MotherJack · 16/01/2011 22:55

It's been bugging me - no, it's not in the Lace Market but I have been there for a wedding. It's supposed to be ok for a wedding venue but not all that for anything else, if you know what I mean.

Are you desperate to eat that side of town?

Lilymaid · 16/01/2011 22:58

We've been there several times for a very nice Sunday lunch - which I thought was better than the one at Hart's. Other meals seemed to be very expensive.
The cubicles in the Ladies loo are incredibly small - and dark so be warned!

visiting and want to go with my DP for a romantic meal to celebrate b'day

Romantic and Nottingham don't usually go hand in hand!!

What kind of food/atmosphere would you normally look for?

dontdillydally · 17/01/2011 22:26

like French, Italian or Indian
