Has anyone used these before and what did you think? We are thinking about booking a 4 night break in Feb half term to one, but DH is concerned that they will smell of smokeHmm. Would be grateful for any feedback...

Hi have been to Hoeseasons a few times. I have always found the accommodation really nice and clean and the facilities are always ok as well. Finlake Park in Devon is really nice if you need a recommendation.

otter falls in devon is nice. don't remember them smelling of smoke and i'm as anti smoking as they come. we've been several times as pretty and convenient sports facilities - nice alternative to centre parcs and cheaper. hesitated about mentioning as i don't want it to be too popular.

the ones near the caves in brecon were extremely old fashioned and you couldn't tell from the pictures that it was above the cafe and had poor outside space. i wouldn't go there again. we ended up sunbathing on the fire escape. and the ski lift looked ancient and so dangerous i wouldn't let my kids use it
