Hotel in St Ives

We are going to St Ives for a couple of nights, for some time away together, just me and my other half. Can anyone suggest somewhere? Want it to be in the town, not Carbis Bay or outskirts, ideally a sea views. Thanks

Oooh how lovely!
The tregenna castle is up on the hill, but it is much better to be in the town so that you can wander around and not worry about parking.

Do try cafe pasta on the harbour for lunch

there's the porthminster - check, I think it's on porthminster beach!

Skidden house is nicely located at the bottom of a steep hill - 5 mins to the main surf beach.

There are lots of rental places too, maybe they'll do 3 day breaks and you can eat at restaurants.

Please beware of seagulls. They will have icecreams and pasties out of your hands even if you're holding them close!

Have a fabulous time. lucky you.

This hotel is lovely www.pednolva.co.uk/special-offer

Have stayed there and all the rooms are over the sea (almost like staying on a boat).

Recommend the Porthmister Cafe for the most amazing food on the beach.

The Primrose Valley Hotel is lovely. Right near the beach.
Stayed with DH and although rooms are small, tis lovely.
Try to get a room with sea view.

Yes Primrose Valley is lovely - think they have a minimum no. nights stay (2 possible 3)?
