To anyone who stumbles across this thread - I was asked about living in Southwold on another thread but it seemed to random to answer in AIBU!
Newgirl - it's a beautiful place to live if you're patient! The disadvantages are that some of the tourists can be bloody rude and the parking is a joke in the summer. Also on bank holiday weekends co-op ALWAYS runs out of milk and bread.
Tbh I probably don't appreciate it as much as you would if you moved here because I've always lived here! It's a great place to bring up little ones though. The local primary had very low class numbers, and most of my early childhood memories are on the beach or crabbing in walberswick!
