Tiverton your suggestions please

All ideas gratefully received from local swimming pool or cafe with the best coffee upwards.
A range of dcs from baby to 7
Would love a recommendation for a good beach (safe!)

Tiverton is miles away from teh coast.

You will have to go to North devon (nearest beach would assume is probably Westward Ho, or Woolacombe/croyde/Saunton. A good hour's drive.

Or go to South devon (presume Exmouth would be the nearest beach, again probably an hour).

You have got Diggerland near there though, at Cullompton (nect Motorway junction down).

been to diggerland in Kent it was OK but doesn't make a Summer holiday!

we will only go once or twice but will need to go once or twice IYSWIM

Exmouth is a sandy beahc, however it is an estuary, so a mite muddy. Town is a bit run down as well.

If i were you i would go north -is probably a bit further to drive, but the beaches are far nicer (Woolacombe and Croyde especially)
