We live in Scotland an were considering going to either longleat or elveden centre parks with the view to also spending time in either pembrokeshire or suffolk...any advice which would be the best place to visit with 2 year old and 6 month old?? Both seem nice.. Longleat seems to have a bit more appeal as there is so much to do at the safari park. Any advice would be appreciated..

the safari park is good :) you can buy a passport so you can just do a couple of bits a day.

Have not been to Elvedon but been to Longleat three times. First time was with similar ages to yours, DS1 was 2.4 and twins were 5 months.

Tons to do there, swimming is great, various playgrounds, beach, etc etc.

Just been in June for third time and DS1 now 4.5 and twins 2.5. Was even better as more things they can do and DS1 did activities like archery and mini crossbows.

Kids club is great if you are wanting or needing to use it. DS1 begged to go in for an extra morning this time as he liked it so much.

Longleat Safari Park really good too. For the ages of your children you might not want to bother paying for actual safari and just do the rest. Postman Pat village, Adventure Castle, Safari Boats and Steam Train etc are great for little ones.

Oh, but forgot to say Longleat Center Parcs is pretty hilly. We did find it hard work pushing a double buggy up the hills but it didn't spoil the holiday in any way.

If you do decide to go, don't book on maple way as you have to go up a hideously steep hill to get either to the Plaza (swimming and eating etc) or in fact almost anywhere else!

Thanks for the advice - yes the postman pat village sounds great.
