Wetsuits in Devon/Cornwall

Anyone been recently? Are the Tesco's and Sainbury's in Devon/Cornwall selling kids wetsuits? If so anyone know how much they are? Don't know whether to buy one online before we go or can get them when we arrive. Didn't know where to put this Q. See if I get any answers. Thanks.

It depends where you're going. IN our bit of Devon (Exeter area) the supermarkets aren't big enough to have clothes and wetsuits, but you can get cheap wetsuits at various beachside places (Dawlish Warren shops, for instance). So you can buy in advance or probably get one at a beachside shop, depending on how remote an area you're going to.

Asda at St Austell sell them.

We got them in Sainsburys in Bude. £12.99 i think. Girls used them enough to justify the cost.

We noticed on the way back north (on the M6) that service stations were selling them for £9.99!

Good luck.

Thanks all, we're going to Woolacoombe in about 10 days. I think I may risk getting them beforehand from here. They all have good measurements on them, and are £11 or £12 dep on size. Thanks.

There are certainly places selling wetsuites at Wooolacombe, several shops, I tried one on there last year. Not sure about the price though compared to supermarkets or decathlon.

I would buy them before if you an get them for £11. I haven't seen any our bit of Cornwall ( SE), and tend to get ours from a local surf shop for £20 per child. This is for a decent branded suit though which you may not need.

There'll be shops which will rent them to you on the day, for a day, or a week, or whatever, particularly if you're going to the 'surfer' type areas round Croyde, Woolacombe etc.

Just been in Woolacombe. Kids wetsuits for £9.99, unbranded though.
