Its my DH's birthday in October amd was thinking of booking a city break for us and the three DC's (age 9, 3 and 2). Does anyone have any recommendations. I was thinking York but I dont really know what there is to do.

there isn't really much to do in York for young childen and its cobbled streets can be difficult if you have a pushchair with you. most of the attractions are aimed at older children. You do have York Minster, the railway museum and Yorvik Centre (this usually has a big queue.
