Bexley Tutor

my daughter is current in year 3, some of her classmates have started 11+ tutoring. I was wondering the following:
How do we find a good tutor? (In person)
When is best to start?
Is 121 or a class better?

I was thinking of starting her in year 4, but have no idea how to go about it. The local non-grammar schools near us are really poor.

Hi @Bucdynovehbkfdg !

Just in person or will you consider online?

Year 3/4 is a sensible starting point and thinking ahead rather than rushing is a good sign.

Some schools near you such as Bexley uses a specific style of verbal and non-verbal reasoning, so familiarity with those question types tends to be more valuable than general 11+ preparation.

On 1:1 versus group, early on 1:1 usually gives clearer diagnostic insight so you know exactly what to target rather than covering everything broadly.

Starting in Year 3/4 also gives you time to be selective and find the right fit rather than rushing in Year 5. Any questions, feel free to ask me :)
