Hi all,

I am looking for an English GCSE tutor for year 11 child, AQA board.

I have looked online and some of the subscription charges are crazy, I have been looking for weeks.

Have sent you a DM of who we use - we had a total nightmare trying to find a tutor, so always happy to pass on recommendations!

Hi @system2319 ! I have sent you a PM, too. Hope it helps!

Cathy Clarke English Teacher is her page name on Facebook. Reasonably priced and amazing. My friends and I cannot thank her enough.

It might be worth contacting your child's school and seeing if any of the English Department also offer out of school tutoring. We are often asked to recommend someone.

What is the rate you are looking to pay?

Robyn (Straightforwardly English) is a teacher who runs small group courses for AQA English. Her approach really worked for DC2 who liked that Robyn provided materials before each session but also got a huge amount out of the feedback videos Robyn produced for each student.
