Hi, I am panicking a bit as our current tutor keeps cancelling lessons. We started end of Y4 and I would like to make the change now. Could you please recommend a maths tutor for 11 plus ideally who has experience in preparing and sending children to schools like NLCS, City of London girls, Latymer, Godolphin and Latymer ? Our first choice is North London Collegiate, but would be delighted with the others too. We don’t mind if online or in person- we are based in central London. Thank you so much!!

Excellent tuition centre House of Tutor Croydon Branch with experienced, DBS-checked tutors who give real attention to each student. Small group sizes mean every child gets personalised support. I’ve seen great progress and confidence in my child’s learning. Highly recommended to any parent looking for quality tuition in London. 07488-278893, houseoftutors.co.uk

My Child was struggling in KS2 and had tried multiple tutors but couldn't found any support. I always considered one to one tuition for my all children but didn't get enough support according to my expectations, Then i came across searching for the well known tuition centre in london and found House of Tutors.
Their plan was flexible for me and they did a great job and helped my child to succeed 11plus. I'm happy to say my two younger children are learning at House of Tutors and they are getting personalised support.
Feel free to in touch with House of Tutors, Hopefully you will meet your expectations. houseoftutors.co.uk 😊

Good morning,

I am also searching for a tutor but covering both English and maths for those schools.
Have you got any recommendations?
Currently I am looking at U2 tuitions but their teachers are just recently graduated and not sure their experience.
Thank you in advance!

Ive had experience with tutors and I didn't use private I used agency. Took a bit of shopping around but we stuck with GoTutor. They didnt have a minimum contract length and it was £27 for a lesson, and our tutor was a teacher in a secondary school. Really good honestly. Dm me if you want their number

I’d switch now tbh, inconsistent tutors are more stressful than helpful at this stage. For those schools, you need someone who knows the exam style, not just maths basics. A few parents I know moved to more structured setups like Pass 11 Plus Grammar as they’re more reliable and do proper mocks. Might be worth a look (their number is 07871008108 if you wanted to check). Definitely better to make the change now than risk gaps later on.👍
