My dd11 is struggling with all aspects of ICT as she missed 99% of her class IT lessons due to having 1to1 learning support for her dyslexia up to about halfway through the spring term this last year when she was expected to design a game in scratch (coding), she is at a prep and has two years left at her school (yr 7 and 8), her it teacher (the only one in the school) has not been very helpful in advising us on how to help her catch up when I’ve asked it’s - just work through it yourself at home. This we’ve tried but it’s very hard as I’m not confident with ict and she gets very frustrated so we wondered about tutoring, we are completely novices to tutoring and tried to find someone who could do it face to face but just cannot find anyone nearby (we are West Midlands) and so tried an online trial with gostudent which was ok but not great. Can anyone help advise a company to try or any other route that could help her and us as it has me tearing my hair out! Thanks
