While reaching out on Mumsnet is going to be unconventional, I need to try everything.
My DD will be sitting the Dame Alice Owens 11+ exam in September. Currently has 121
tuition weekly. It’s not working. Tutor has too much on, is disorganised, regular cancels sessions meaning gaps in contact time, homework is shared late, no overall plan for targeting weaker areas, past papers etc.
Far from ideal at this late stage, but we have to find an alternative. If anyone can recommend an 11+ Maths tutor with experience of working with children targeting this school, and experience of working with a child (and the parents!) at this stage of the process with a clear plan and in an organised way, I would be soooooo grateful if you callus share your recommendations and why.
