For a 3 year old??? Have you typed the age correctly?

ElaineMBenes · 31/10/2023 07:44

Ah apologies. Lack of sleep has clearly impacted my ability to read.

Don't worry OP, some of us can read. You could try Junior Lawyers Club, starts from age 8.

https://juniorlawyersclub.co.uk/

Thanks , i will try.

I second LAMDA, great for learning how to pace, project voice plus sight reading etc.

The other is simply practicing reading out loud, it’s amazing how different it is to thinking it in your head - if you know what I mean.

When I was looking for online public speaking options during covid for DD, I found Junior Lawyers Club. She's still doing it at 13, so I'd strongly recommend it. It has really brought out her critical thinking skills and helped her to make the step up to secondary school.

My daughter does lamda and I am really impressed with the work she's been doing.
She's no particular aspiration to be an actor but she really enjoys herself and is able to speak clearly and confidently in public

She also does general drama classes which include lots of creativity and team work and lots of opportunities to speak in front of a group

This sounds really interesting, I'm going to take a look. Sounds like a great way of expanding skillsets which are useful whether you later choose to become a lawyer or not
