Sutton 11+ tutoring recommendations

WebbieMumCR · 12/10/2021 18:49

DS is in Year5 and wanted to look for tutoring options for Sutton 11+ entrance.

Any recommendations for private tutors or coaching centres or online platforms. Any experience with Kip Mcgrath, Study Box, Test Teach or Explore learning? Online prep with Planet Bofa, iXL etc?

Thanks

IXL is good but since it is a website you need to either find a tutor or use a education centre

I can definitely recommend Tayberry - Jo, who's the head tutor, did absolute wonders with my niece and nephew

Looking for any experience or reviews on Learning Street courses for 11+ grammar school preparation.

Lots of the Explore Learning tutors are just A level students with no teaching qualifications. They just help the children when they get stuck with their online work. It is not tailored very well to individual needs. The tutors get paid very little.
