Newcastle Primary School Tutor

Hi there, I wanted to see if anyone had recommendation for a primary school tutor. We are moving from the US and our kids will be starting school in Newcastle in September. Our school system is slightly different in that our kids start school later in the US so I am expecting that my kids will have some gaps in their learning (enhanced by the fact that they haven't been in school since March due to Coronavirus). I wanted to look into a tutor for my oldest daughter, mainly for maths so that she feels prepared when she starts school in the UK in September. Does anyone have any great recommendations in the area? I'd love to use someone local that also does online so that we could start soon (while we are still in the US) with the option of moving to 'in person' when we move back to the UK. Thanks!

How old are your dc and are they going to a state primary?

Would it be worth contacting the school your daughter's likely to go to and ask to have a look at the maths assessment they would normally give at the end of this year?

My son had an american friend in year 2 who didn't seem to have a problem with being behind (mind you the teacher said he was "excellent at maths" so he probably just picked up anything missing really quickly Grin).
