Maths tutor cost

How much would you expect to pay for GCSE maths tutoring?

About 30-50£/hr

Whereabouts are you? My friend teaches it in the NW and she charges £30 ph. I imagine it's much more down south.

I paid £20ph for a GCSE English tutor a year ago in Northern Ireland but I'd say the mainland would be more expensive!

Being quoted £40 in the SE, which seems steep but the tutor is highly qualified.

I pay 60 -London but have paid 75 at times through agencies

I guess it all comes to down to where you are based. At Tutor Science, we do home tuitions in West London and we charge £30 p/h.
