Alec Murdaugh to get a new trial!

I wasn't surprised to hear the judge had ordered Alec Murdaugh to be re-tried for the murder of his wife and son after the court clerk tampered with the jury, although I was disappointed to think he might be cleared of the murders he very obviously committed.

What do you think will be the outcome of this second trial?

He will be let off. I still think he did it though
He is very well connected too.

I really can’t see him being cleared. Not with the phone data and the two videos and the housekeeper’s statement. And the one from the mother’s nurse. ,

I do think he should get a retrial because trying to manipulate the jury is quite a big deal and everyone does deserve a fair trial. Even him.

He pleaded guilty to the financial crimes and he got 40 years or something and his legal firm have had to pay nine million dollars back to the people he stole it from. So the people who thought he was the bees knees probably don’t so much now. And he was on drugs and that all came out at the trial. Surely no legal people think he’s still a good bloke.
