Items going missing in the house

Not sure if there are weird things going on or I’ve got early on set dementia!

I’ve lost a couple of items recently and they’ve miraculously turned up. My house keys, checked everywhere and they turned up in my handbag. Next my engagement rings, put them away knew where they were. Checked not there. Final check before the insurance was called. Right there. Bizarre.

No that's been happening to me for decades.
I usually thank the pixies because that's what my gran drummed into me as child.
She used to tell me to ask the pixies for my missing things but never in a grumpy way (not always easy) as they won't give them back, then thank them afterwards.
Exactly the same thing re looking for things, I've cleaned drawers out looking for fairly large objects, have gone through everything in a forensic type fingertip search way, put everything back and the item has turned up later right at front of the drawer placed on the top of everything else.
