Searches and the removal of a green car. I have everything crossed that this is the breakthrough they needed.

I've been watching this puzzling case for years. Hope that they find something.

Hope so. Poor Asha.

There's been a huge development: search warrants issued and the identification of dna found in her back pack. I'll try and find a UK source

Uk daily mail is apparently inaccurate (dna is a hair belonging to the daughter of a local family) and a non specific dna belonging to a man with links to them.

It sounds like they have found a clear link to a family called Dedmon.
I've followed this case for years and am astonished at the progress made. It seemed like there would never be any answers at all.
But there are still so many unknowns, was she lured or did she leave home voluntarily and wtf actually happened?

Phase2 · 19/09/2024 07:07

It's amazing isn't it? I imagine they have a lot more that is known or suspected.
I was shocked when the Delphi case suddenly moved to an arrest so hope very much Asha's family have some answers soon.

This case has the strangest circumstances of all unsolved murder mysteries I think. What happened makes absolutely no sense

AliasGrace47 · 13/12/2024 03:20

I've recently discovered Asha's story
To me it seems really strange & baffling that Asha would have left her home like that. The description of a mature girl who didn't normally misbehave doesn't seem to chime. But on reddit some posters mentioned reckless childhood things like creeping out to the garden at night to pretend they were in the Jungle Book, so there could be a similar explanation. Still, packing your bag to walk into a rainy night is a step further, surely?

Is anyone following the recent updates? The local family who have been highlighted as having possible involvement?

Yes that always puzzled me about this case. I think she was being groomed by someone maybe?

Yes, that's what I lean to. It's a horrific case...at least there may be some chance of justice for her family.
