Kind of no idea actually

He has lego and playmobil.

Already quite a lot of brio train track stuff.

What are the boys liking at the moment - I know he's not a big ben10 fan and I think that a ds or Wii (or whatever they're called) would be too much of a challenge.

What did you get your dss for their birthdays????

When my son turned 4 he started to like games such as snake n ladders, bingo, snap ect.

Hot wheels car sets, they do good boxed sets with different 'tricks' ( loop the loop, colour change etc ) not that expensivbe but v. popular with my 4yr old

Hotwheels - sounds fine and the games would be good as we can play together....

Does he have a marble run? ELC do one which has proven popular with my DS. Snakes and ladders also popular here too.

My ds loves Star Wars at the moment. Both Lego and the normal toys.

I'm quite grateful for that and his lego as he sadly discovered both the playstation (my brother gave him his old one) and the Wii (my mum has one). He has to be strictly limited as playing on them all day would be his idea of heaven.

He does love books though too. We've read eight today including one five times .

No idea why that posted twice!

Starwars also good! Never thought of that -suppose I should then also get him the film.

I think the issue is that (if I'm honest) he's got too much stuff so we just want to get him one small thing and one bigger thing.

Have no objection to playstations but his fine motor skills are not good and he gets upset and frustrated when he can't do something (ie tries to destroy the thing)!

I'm liking snakes and ladders - will also investigate star wars and other film stuff - I quite like batman actually!

Many thanks all

Tom is 4 next month and i'm getting him a didicar ride on. They have them at nursery and it's something different.

He loves lightning mcqueen, so might get him the cars game for wii as a way of introducing him to video games? It's my Wii anyway. I don't want too much stuff as have 11 week old DD. Partly why I don't really want a party for Tom this year, inundated with more toys!
