Has anyone found anything good on the net or on CD Rom that they could recommend?

There is lots out there but it is either

  • very mouse skills-led and I need simple, one button presses
  • very American with cutsey voices or accents that are hard to understand
  • character based (don't mind characters but not when you have to know stuff about them or their world to play the game)
  • crap (ie one game with one sequence over nad over and over, so not really a game at all!)

Don't mind paying for something - ds is nearly 3 and loves looking at numbers, letters, shapes, colours etc. But lots of the numbers ones will have a simple game then it moves into doing maths, which is a little advanced!

Thanks for any help

My dd is 3 and loves poisson rouge. I think the fisher price site has some simple games on it as well but I've never been on it. Some of the cbeebies ones are quite simple as well but you have to pick and choose

Kneebouncers - excellent for one touch button games.

Poisson Rouge is the one we normally use too, along with the usual ones ie Cbeebies, NickJR, Playhouse Disney. Recently we've found the Sesame Street website is really good.
