Anyone had experience of these handheld games?

Can't decide for my dd soon to be 5.

Although she is very bright want too avoid the ds lite until she is older.

Any thoughts would be gratefully received before the shelves are cleared in my local toys r us

I have got dd a leapster2 this Christmas. My mind was made up because it was on a £30 off £60 spend at Littlewoods.

I think they are much of a muchness tbh, whichever you can get cheapest, I'd say!
(leapster games are 3x2 on a couple of sites, and 25%ish off on Amazon at the mo')

Argos are doing a deal with Cyberpocket - you get the travel bag free and one of about 7 or 8 select games at half price. We've got one for DS (who's 4) because he plays one or two games on my DS Lite but we want him to have something of his own to play on. Plus you can plug it into the TV and all the VSmile games are compatible with it.
