Hi,
Posted previously about Planks but have just discovered Kapla building sets which seem to be more readily available.

Does anyone have them - and would you recommend?

Thanks

Know this is quite old, but in case you are still pondering, yes they are fab! They have them at the science center I used to work at and there was almost always someone (kids and adults)playing with them.

kimlouiseb I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread but I am doing a bit of research on people's opinion of kids clothes nowadays. I saw on the Matalan thread you hate black jeans and shirts for boys. How old is your DS? Why do you hate black jeans and shirts? At what age would you dress him either of those things if ever? Do you dislike all shirts or just collared shirts? What about something with a mandarin collar that only buttons at the top like this or this

I just think black jeans are a bit too grown up for them and I just don't particularly like them- my boys are 3 and 5. I do like some shirts and my boys wear them occasionally, I just like them to be comfy and shirts can be a bit hard work at times- love those two in the links, love their kids clothes in general.

Thanks for your insight What do you think about the fashion at the moment of boys wearing waistcoats and ties with jeans?

I like it generally on older teenagers and men but wouldn't put my boys in at their age at the moment - too grown up.

What about with just a waistcoat and a tshirt? I think ties I too grown up for them. Hate the fact DS will have to wear one in reception next year.
