Anyone got Planx?

Hi all,
My two DS's aged 3 and 5 love to play with our wooden Jenga set, building structures and towers - so have been looking at Planx sets.
Has anyone get them and would you recommend?
Thanks

My ds loves his. He got one box a while back, and loved them so much, I arranged for him to get another box for his christmas last year. (he's 4 now btw)

I guess your dss could mix and match Planx with the Jenga too.

Thanks for the feedback mawbroon. Yes they could mix them with the Jenga - not enough blocks in the Jenga, they ran out this morning - they could do with a huge pile of them!
Have seen a few special offers on the large Planx sets which are quite tempting.
Did your DS find them easy to stack and balance?

He tends to use them in conjunction with other toys rather than build and stack them tbh.

eg he uses them to build bridges and platforms alongside his railway set, or he "digs" them with his digger.

He absolutely loves it if somebody builds him a tower though. Then he can run a toy vehicle into it and send the whole lot crashing down!!

I am guessing that once he's a bit older, he will stack them up, so hopefully we will get years out of them yet!!

Hijacking this thread, but... does anyone know if Planx and Kapla are compatible?! DS is obsessed with Kapla, but Planx are considerably cheaper (and look the same so far as I can tell from the internet).
