Rollerskates

Can anyone recommend some rollerskates for a 6 year old. Her feet are too big for the character plastic ones so we are thinking of getting the slightly more grown up ones, but all I can seem to find are inline skates which look far too tricky! Any suggestions? Any to avoid?

Inlines can actually be easier to learn on than quads; but there are lots of good quality quads. Find a specialist shop or skate sessions where you can ask around for where and what to buy.

These sort of skates are very popular at our local Saturday afternoon Sports Centre skate sessions, you can find the same kind 2nd hand on Ebay sometimes, I imagine.
