Help! Can you just but Lego bricks online in bulk, like the 2x4, without all the other necessary pieces? I can only find ‘compatible’ versions.

Yes! There’s a section on the website called Bricks and Pieces where you can add individual bricks, so you can make an order of any shape/colour you want

Thanks, I did look, honest, but I could only find the eyes and odd bits. I’ll filter it down more.

Brick bin were good for this. You can buy specific sizes by weight. It’s proper LEGO.

After filtering down as much as I could on the Lego site, to about 500 products I found them. Should have filtered by colour as I’m sure that would have helped. Anyway 19 p a brick, so ordered 100 bricks of different colours. Let the building (and a cuppa) commence.
