Sleeping queens, kingdomino (but don’t force the square rule), camel up, sushi go with card holders, labyrinth, sum swamp, animal on animal.

Cludo is always a good one to play. We also like Labyrinth and at that age things like Othello and Ludo are also good. I have found the "junior" versions of most noard games to be a bit shit and we've always just gone for the adult version. If you want some more interactive family games then Beat That is full of great challenges and you can play in teams too.

I've brought exploding kittens for my 6yo

Dobble is a really fun game for all ages.

Quirkle (we love this!)
Blokus
Carcassonne

Carcassone is a good one. Dragomino is a hit with my 5 year old but might be a bit simple - depends on how much they play board games. My daughter is currently obsessed with Gigamons which I think would have replay value for a 6 year old and has the benefit of being easily 2 player and not last too long.
